New mural at St Albans City Station
A stunning new mural at St Albans City Station promotes St Albans as a vibrant visitor destination and shares the local attractions with all visitors and locals.
Four golden symbols, representing the city’s Old Town Hall, Clock Tower, Abbey and the remains of Roman Verulamium were engraved onto a metal base to create the amazing 3D artwork- it’s a fantastic addition, take a look when next travelling.
St Albans BID provided the artwork for the individual symbol designs and worked alongside Thameslink, Groundwork East, Visitor Partnership and the City Council on the project which is part of a network-wide multimillion-pound programme to improve stations
