Our new Residents of Verulamium themed summer banners are up along St Peter’s Street with new bunting also across French Row, Waddington Road and George Street. Installed by Bay Media and High Level Electrics, the banners and bunting incorporate the Enjoy St Albans branding.

Displaying our history front and centre, BID gives a nod to the ancient residents of Verulamium for this summer’s St Peter’s Street lamp columns. Illustrations are by Simon Maskell and each character has a back story which may not be so different from residents of today. Their back stories are attached to the columns underneath each banner.

The installation of banners and bunting are part of the BID’s delivery of the Street Scene & Experience objective, where we aim to create a more inviting and vibrant atmosphere by adding interest and a burst of colour to our city centre.
