TimeTurn: St Albans Vintage Retro Festival

Get involved with our first TimeTurn Festival!

Make sure Sunday 16th September is in your diary and join in with our TimeTurn event!
There are loads of ways to get your business involved; create a window display, put up posters from your decade, dress up or play period music… If you have a retro vehicle let us know and we’ll use it for our street displays.

Don’t miss this great opportunity to showcase your business and engage with the public as they follow the ‘TimeTurn Trail’ around the City Centre streets and discover all the great businesses we have. Who knows, yours could be the one they remember the most!

Waste Management Review update:

You have told us that Commercial Waste Management in St Albans is expensive, inconvenient and haphazard. Side roads are cluttered with waste bins from a range of waste contractors. We are delighted to be working with HUBBUB to understand the challenges and to propose solutions that will save our businesses money and increase effective recycling. HUBBUB’s first step results of their project are available to view here: Commercial Waste Review July 2018.

Thameslink Train service – have your say!

Thank you to all businesses who participated in our recent survey regarding the Thameslink timetable changes. Your feedback and comments were all forwarded to St Albans Council who are using it to form part of their response to the Parliamentary Inquiry that is investigating the issues caused by these changes.

St Albans Council have now broadened their request for feedback and would like to hear from anyone either individually or collectively regarding their experiences. Please click here to view the St Albans Council Press Release and to see the ways in which you can give your feedback.
