ShopSafe will be upgrading the radio system in St Albans. The new Smart Radios will provide wider coverage, enhanced audio, greater battery life, and better device management. Their team will be visiting participating businesses week commencing 9th September 2024.

Existing Users – Getting your new radio:

The new radio technology provides the ability to offer a new range of devices with exciting form factors such as an integrated body camera and smartphone option alongside a more traditional radio solution.

Other Radio options for Existing or New Users:

Once the radio system has been upgraded your existing radios will no longer work, so they need to ensure they collect your old equipment and provide you with the new radio on the same day.

A member of their team will provide you with your new device and provide some onboard training. They will also collect your old equipment at this time.

If you opt for the standard radio, there will not be any price increase, if you opt for one of the enhanced offerings any price increases will not come into effect until your next billing cycle. You will be notified of the charges at your next invoice billing cycle, 90 days in advance of your renewal.
