The 2023/2024 Visitor Guide launches this week to enhance the experience of visitors as they explore and enjoy the best of the city and wider district. The 52-page guide features stunning images of the picture-perfect city alongside inspirational content to encourage visitors to get out and about and make the best of their stay.
Just north of London, easily accessible by road and under 20 minutes by train from St Pancras International, St Albans was one of Britain’s largest Roman towns. But beyond its Roman ruins and historic attractions, it has so much to offer with fantastic independent shopping, a lively entertainment and foodie scene and a constant schedule of events year-round.
BID Destination Manager, Kate Cohen, who commissioned the full-colour guide said: “With a packed calendar of vibrant events, incredible shopping, sensational food and drink, magnificent markets and stunning architecture and streets – St Albans is a fantastic place for all ages to visit. We hope this guide inspires people to visit and stay a few days to really enjoy all the city has to offer.”
40,000 copies have been printed which are available from all key attractions including the Museum + Gallery and Cathedral as well as from outside the BID office on French Row. It will also be available at tourist destinations in and around London as well as in locations up to 2hrs driving distance in all directions from St Albans to encourage visits and can be viewed online at www.EnjoyStAlbans.com
Kate concludes: “St Albans is a wonderful city to visit and the new Visitor Guide available both in printed and digital format is every visitor’s must-have accessory.” Click here to view the online guide.
