Go back in time as St Albans turns back the clock this September!
On Sunday 16 September, the second weekend of Heritage Open Days, St Albans will be going back in time. Each street will be themed to a different era with a variety of activities for the public to enjoy.
Historic vehicles, cars, motorbikes, scooters and commercial vehicles will line the streets and businesses of all types, shops, restaurants, banks and public houses will all be joining in the fun by creating their own retro feel. Holywell Hill will be themed WW1 to 1920s, St Peter’s Street WW2 and 1940s, George Street 1950s and 1960s and Catherine Street 1970s and 1980s.
Music, food and fashion will all play their part in the festival.
