Creating a welcoming place

The totems were originally installed in 2019 to aid visitor navigation of the city.

Structurally they have fared well but the graphic sheets depicting the maps and information crinkled up due to weathering, became unreadable and made the Totems look tardy.

We had to explore an alternative option for the graphics that would survive the increasing effects of the sun’s heat. We think the solution works well and more importantly, they again serve their purpose.
