With evaluations and reports from last year and projections for Year 3, the latest Annual Report has been delivered to St Albans BID businesses this week. If you haven’t had a copy, get in touch now, or download and read at your leisure.

This year’s projects have already been introduced to levy payers in recent months. Look out for an announcement after Easter on the winner of our BID waste management tender. The zero-to-landfill organisation is committed to delivering cost savings alongside excellent customer service with exemplar sustainability credentials too. BID members will be emailed with details on how to sign up next month. We have, in the last week, also confirmed the design of a new pedestrian wayfinding system which we will begin to roll out this year.
We have delivered events with a reach of over 240,000 (Gin & Jazz), over 91% positive retailer feedback (Style St Albans) and 21,000 video views (St Albans Advent). This year the businesses of St Albans will be supporting St Albans Film Festival, Sustainable St Albans (#sustfest), the Alban Street Festival, St Albans Food & Drink Festival as well as delivering our own strategic and successful events for the local community. With clear outcomes and evaluations, we make sure we’re driving footfall and highlighting the expertise and cultural capital of our city to the right audiences.
